VEX IQ ….the Pithons

On Feb 11th, our VEX IQ team, grades 6-8, went to their provincial competition at the Woodlands school in Mississauga.  They presented their project to the judges on the iRobot and a possible accessory to let them climb the stairs to another level of your house! They worked hard on their robot programming and design but ultimately were not able to finish in the top placements.  However their robot skills, which is an autonomous run of their robot on the challenge table, earned them 3rd in Ontario and an invitation to the VEX IQ Worlds April 23-25th in Louisville, Kentucky.  Preparations are underway for a robot redesign and better engineering notebook.
