WeeBots introduces younger students (JK–Grade 3) to robotics, logical thinking, and problem solving in a structured, supportive environment.

Students learn how robots work by building and programming age-appropriate LEGO robotics systems. Through guided instruction, students begin to understand how their instructions control the robot’s behaviour and how to solve problems step by step. These early experiences help students develop focus, confidence, and independence.

WeeBots classes are teacher-led and designed to help students build strong foundational skills that will prepare them for our Grade 4+ robotics pathway.

WeeBots classes are offered when scheduling permits and may be taught by Stephanie or by senior E-Bots student instructors from our High School VEX Robotics team. These student instructors have progressed through our full program and serve as experienced mentors and role models. All instruction follows the structured teaching approach that defines the E-Bots program.

Due to scheduling and enrollment, JK/SK and Grades 1–3 students may occasionally be taught together. Instruction is always adapted to support students at their individual level.

Classes are intentionally kept small to ensure individual attention and support.

• Maximum 6-8 students per class
• Structured, teacher-led instruction
• Hands-on building and programming

WeeBots prepares students for a smooth transition into our Robot 1 program when they reach Grade 4.

Our goal is to help students develop confidence, patience, and problem-solving ability while fostering a strong foundation in logical thinking.

Things to note

  • Children MUST have the prequisite class for the class they are registering for.
  • If you feel your child may know more than Class A please contact info@ebots.ca for an assessment.
  • Children cannot move on from one level to the next without permission from their teachers.
  • Every child is unique and different and so too are their learning styles. Not all children learn as quickly as others and for that reason our program is not “pass/fail”. Children may require a secondary pass at some concepts and if so should never be considered “failure”.
