Robot 1
Introduction to LEGO RoboticsFor Students Entering Grade 5+ in September 2025
No Prerequisites Required
Max Class Size: 8 StudentsThis entry-level robotics camp is the perfect starting point for students new to the world of robotics and programming. In a fully teacher-led environment, students will be guided step-by-step as they explore LEGO EV3 Classroom, a Scratch-based coding platform, where they’ll learn to bring robots to life through structured instruction and creative tasks.
Students will work in pairs throughout the week, collaborating on challenges and code as they learn about the core components of robotics—motors, sensors, logic, and movement. Together, they’ll explore how robots sense and respond to their environment, using real-world applications of robotics concepts.
Through interactive experiments, guided analysis, and hands-on challenges, students will gain a solid foundation in how robots work, while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This is a teacher-supported, team-based learning experience—perfect for students who thrive in a structured, collaborative environment and are ready to begin their robotics journey.
The focus is on learning through play, observation, and problem-solving, making it an engaging and interactive way to begin a student’s robotics journey. No prior experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore!
1+ Challenge Camp
Robot 1 & 2 Application- Prerequisite: Completion of Robot 1 OR 2
For Students Entering Grade 5+ in September 2025
Max Class Size: 8 Students Ready to take your robotics skills to the next level? Our LEGO Robotics Challenge Camp is designed for students who have completed Robot 1 or Robot 2 and are looking for a fun, hands-on way to practice, play, and problem-solve—without traditional instruction.
This is not a teacher-led class with step-by-step lessons. Instead, students will work in pairs to take on a challenge—either based on a past FIRST LEGO League (FLL) mat or a custom-designed mission. Teachers will act as coaches and collaborators, helping students refine their ideas, set goals, and troubleshoot—but the direction comes from the students themselves.
Each pair will choose from three robot builds, and while they will follow build directions to get started, the challenge is wide open for creativity and application. This is a chance for students to apply what they’ve learned, think critically, and work through real-world-style engineering problems—all while having fun!
With just 8 students per class, every participant will get plenty of support and space to explore. The camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, offering a full week of deep dives into design, programming, teamwork, and innovation.
This is where practice meets play. Come build, code, and create with us this summer!
Robot 3 & FLL Prep
Explore Advanced RoboticsPrerequisite: Completion of Robot 2
For Students Entering Grade 5+ in September 2025
Max Class Size: 8 StudentsThis summer, we’re combining our Robot 3 curriculum with an exciting FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Prep experience—perfect for students ready to take their robotics skills to the next level.
With a strong foundation from Robot 1 and 2, students will dive into more advanced programming concepts such as boolean and string variables, OR statements, multiconditional waits, and variable declarations. These tools will be applied as they take on one of our signature robotics challenges: the Indiana Jones Maze or Frogger, each designed with dynamic obstacles, moving walls, and evolving paths that require fully autonomous navigation.
In addition to mastering new coding techniques, students will get a taste of the FLL team experience, focusing on strategic thinking, mission planning, and efficient testing practices. The class emphasizes problem-solving, debugging, and optimizing performance—key skills for anyone looking to join a competitive robotics team.
This class is also a required prerequisite for participation on an E-Bots FIRST LEGO League Experience Team, making it a great stepping stone for students interested in exploring the world of competitive robotics.
3+ Challenge Camp
Advanced Robotics ChallengePrerequisite: Completion of Robot 3, 4, or 5
For Students Entering Grade 5+ in September 2025
Max Class Size: 8 StudentsFor students who have completed Robot 3, 4, or 5, this advanced summer camp is designed to push their robotics skills to the next level. The LEGO Robotics Competition Camp offers a deeper, more technical challenge focused on teamwork, strategy, and real-world robotics competition prep.
Over the course of five full days (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM), students will work in pairs to design, build, and program a robot capable of solving a series of complex tasks on a past FIRST LEGO League (FLL) or World Robot Olympiad (WRO)mat. These are real, competition-style missions that require critical thinking, smart design choices, and creative problem-solving.
This camp is not instruction-based—students won’t follow step-by-step lessons. Instead, instructors will act as mentors and collaborators, helping students clarify their ideas, improve their builds, and fine-tune their code. Campers will be given constraints and objectives, but will have greater opportunity to free build their robots within those parameters, encouraging experimentation and innovation.
Each class is limited to just 8 students, ensuring focused support and plenty of space to explore ideas. Students will be challenged to think like engineers and competitors—designing with both performance and reliability in mind.
This camp is ideal for students who are ready to take a serious step into the world of competitive robotics and want to apply what they’ve learned in a creative, collaborative, and goal-driven environment.
Bring your skills. Bring your strategy. Let’s compete.
Technology Art
Creative Tech in ActionFor Students Entering Grade 6+ in September 2025
No Prerequisites Required
Max Class Size: 8 Students
Note: A materials fee will apply (TBD), in addition to the course cost.Where creativity meets cutting-edge tech! In this hands-on camp, students will explore how technology and the arts come together to create something truly unique. Over the course of the week, campers will learn to design and build using tools like a diode laser, 3D printer, CNC machine, and more.
Students will be introduced to a variety of digital design platforms, including Fusion 360, Tinkercad, and Studio, as they create custom projects from concept to completion. They’ll develop skills in 3D modeling, laser cutting, engraving, and CNC routing, learning not only how to operate these tools safely, but how to use them creatively and effectively.
From personalized keychains and engraved artwork to functional 3D prints, campers will walk away with a collection of awesome, one-of-a-kind projects, all designed and made by them. Along the way, they’ll build confidence in using real-world tech tools and gain insight into how art and engineering intersect in exciting, modern ways.
Perfect for curious minds who love to tinker, create, and explore the boundaries of innovation and imagination!
Things to note
- Children MUST have the prequisite class for the class they are registering for.
- If you feel your child may know more than Class A please contact info@ebots.ca for an assessment.
- Children cannot move on from one level to the next without permission from their teachers.
- Every child is unique and different and so too are their learning styles. Not all children learn as quickly as others and for that reason our program is not “pass/fail”. Children may require a secondary pass at some concepts and if so should never be considered “failure”.
